Job Description
We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Bilingual ERP Project Test Lead/Coordinator to join our media client on a primarily remote contract. ABOUT THE PROJECT Linguistic requirements: Bilingual (Advanced English / Intermediate French) Location: Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa On-site presence: Primarily remote, with occasional on-site presence required, particularly during SIT and UAT phases. On-site frequency: On-site frequency, or more often as needed based on the project requirements. Travel requirements : Periodic travel to Montreal, Toronto, or Ottawa. Estimated duration: Till March 31, 2026 Renewal options: 2 renewal options of 3 months each Project Description Technology and Infrastructures (T&I) is at the core of our client’s evolution, ensuring seamless connectivity across media content, systems, people, and places. As they transition from traditional broadcasting to a cutting-edge digital media company, T&I is leading this transformation. As part of this exciting journey, they are embarking on a significant finance modernization initiative to enhance our processes and technology. In this dynamic, fast-paced environment, you’ll play a crucial role in testing coordination for the implementation of our Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system, helping shape the future of our finance processes and systems. You will be working with our integrator test manager and workstream leads and SMEs. Activities The ERP Project Test Lead/Coordinator is responsible for the following components: Test Planning and Coordination : In collaboration with the integrator Test Manager, develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, ensuring alignment with the overall project timeline and objectives. Coordinate with various teams to schedule and track testing activities. Test Case Development and Execution : Plan, Organize, Schedule testing efforts. Collaborate with business analysts and subject matter experts to develop detailed test cases leveraging the integrator ERP test case library. Oversee the execution of test cases across various modules of the ERP system, ensuring thorough coverage and identifying gaps. Test execution is manual and results are recorded in JIRA. Defect Management : Using JIRA and PowerBI, Track and manage defects, ensuring they are logged, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner. Coordinate with development teams to ensure defect resolution and re-testing. Test Reporting and Metrics : Using JIRA and PowerBI, produce regular test progress reports and metrics to inform stakeholders on the status of testing. Analyze and summarize test results, highlighting risks and areas requiring attention.Escalate issues and risks to the delivery project manager in a timely manner. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support : Provide support for UAT by preparing test scenarios, coordinating user involvement, and ensuring feedback is collected and addressed effectively. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with project managers, functional teams, and developers to ensure testing aligns with system configurations and business requirements. Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to best practices within the testing and implementation phases of the ERP system. Mandatory Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of experience in testing coordination or testing management, specifically in ERP implementations (preferably Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or similar). Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of ERP systems, with a focus on finance, procurement, and other core business processes. Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is highly desirable. Project Management Skills : Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize competing demands, and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment. Experience with project management tools and methodologies is an asset. Testing Experience : Extensive experience in planning, executing, and managing various types of tests (e.g., system integration, user acceptance, regression) within an ERP implementation. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and defect tracking tools. Experience working with an ERP integrator. Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with a proven capacity to engage and collaborate across cross-functional teams. Skilled at presenting test results, insights, and risks to both technical and non-technical audiences including executives with clarity and tact. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills : Strong critical thinking abilities to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose solutions in a collaborative manner. Attention to Detail : Ability to identify potential issues early and ensure thorough validation of test scenarios and results. Team Collaboration : Collaborative and approachable team player with strong consensus-building skills. Experienced in working with diverse stakeholders including business users, developers, and project managers to align on priorities and ensure testing requirements are met. Serves as a mentor and coach, fostering teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement within the group. Adaptability : Ability to work under changing conditions, adjust priorities, and manage evolving project demands. Tools and Software : Experience with Jira, PowerBI and ERP system testing environments; familiarity with TestRail is considered an asset.
