Position: SRE & Support Engineer Location: Halifax NS Skills: Scripting, Application Monitoring, CI/CD Key Responsibilities: Provide third-level support for critical platform incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal downtime. Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues using monitoring tools such as ITRS Geneos, Grafana, and Splunk. Act as escalation point for Level 1 and 2 support teams and mentor junior staff. Maintain and update runbooks, knowledge bases, and support documentation for efficient issue resolution. Manage and coordinate incident response and post-incident reviews across teams. Develop automation scripts to reduce manual tasks and improve platform reliability. Collaborate with developers to identify system bottlenecks and optimize performance. Use Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Ansible to provision infrastructure in Azure Databricks. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous and reliable software deployments. Advocate SRE best practices and work with cross-functional teams to continuously improve platform stability. About Iris Software Inc.
