Job Description

ProStaffSelect are in search of a JUNIOR SOUS CHEF who is highly skilled on Hot & COLD Section to run and manage sections. This candidate needs to be highly organized and well-planned to arrange food production and oversee service on the section, drive food standards, motivate staff and control food quality. REQUIREMENTS : Formal cheffing qualification with at least 4 years experience in a demanding / HIGH-PRESSURE kitchen Thorough knowledge and skill working with fish and meat, veg and sauces Excellent plating skills and refined attention to detail ideally with a fine dining background Able to collaborate with other team members for EFFICIENCY & SPEED Effective communication skills in ENGLISH and AFRIKAANS needed when working with teams and when dealing directly with guests
