Hotel Reservationist This is a full-time on-site role for a Hotel Reservationist located in Stellenbosch. Reservation Responsibilities: Handle guest reservations efficiently and accurately, ensuring accurate data entry and maintaining a well-organized reservation system. Manage hotel reservations, including processing bookings, modifying or cancelling reservations, and ensuring the accuracy of guest information. Respond to reservation inquiries via phone, email, or in-person, providing information on rates, availability, and hotel amenities. Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests. Monitor room availability, room types, and rates to provide accurate and up-to-date information to guests. Maximize room occupancy by upselling and promoting available upgrades and packages. Qualifications Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills Previous Hotel Reservations experience essential Excellent Phone Etiquette Positive attitude and professional appearance Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Previous experience in a hospitality role is essential Experience on Protel or Opera room’s management system is essential Please forward a full up to date CV
