Job Purpose The Accounting Specialist is responsible for maintaining accounting records and reporting for the assigned area of SAP Legal Entities. Supports ACE team leader to ensure compliance with Group and local accounting principles as well as SOX requirements. Acts as a finance point of reference for CNH business functions as well as other departments. Key Responsibilities Responsible for monthly and yearly closing process related in line with policy and deadlines Responsible for accounting reconciliations and SOX or audit requirements Support Ace Team Leader to ensure financial reporting integrity and compliance according to local regulatory and tax requirements Support Ace Team Leader to promote continuous process optimization, managing process change procedure in case of optimization opportunities Support relevant business controllers on local accounting matters and in policy application Experience Required Education Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Economics Technical Experience Minimum 3-5 years of finance and/or accounting management experience in a financial reporting/General Ledger environment Strong knowledge of local regulatory and accounting reporting standards and procedures (IFRS, France GAAP and US GAAP), knowledge of local fiscal accounting Strong knowledge of financial reporting practices Knowledge of SOX principles and internal control procedures/management Strong PC skills and proficiency with spreadsheet programs (e.g. SAP and Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presenting and explaining financial reports to all levels within the organization including top management.
