Network Planning Analyst, Global Logistics EU As a Network Planning Analyst, pioneering new ways of thinking, designing and delivering is your mission. Collaborating closely with a wide range of stakeholders across Amazon, you’ll continuously be scoping out new solutions. You’ll conduct your own research and analysis, always with an eye on the long‑term vision of the business. Key job responsibilities Create innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in the organization. Develop strong partnerships and mechanisms with upstream and downstream planning functions to measure, control and respond to planning variation. Provide standard work process execution and functionality support to routing and planning execution teams. A day in the life Being a Network Planning Analyst for Amazon involves solving lots of complex challenges. You’ll spend time resolving temporary issues and looking at the bigger picture to drive Amazon towards achieving new objectives. This role is dynamic, and you’ll have the opportunity to help forecast and plan for new projects. As a Network Planning Analyst, no two days will be the same. Having so much variety in your role means you’ll be able to learn something new every day. About the team Global Logistics is a team of highly experienced logistics professionals, carrier specialists, and program managers focused on improving the speed and reliability of Amazon’s cross‑border logistics capabilities. The team is responsible for executing the timely movement of freight from global manufacturing hubs across borders into Amazon’s international marketplaces for Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) sellers and Retail direct import vendors. Leveraging the capabilities of world‑class logistics providers and internal Amazon supply chain solutions, Global Logistics increases selection and lowers cost for our customers. Basic Qualifications Experience in program or project management Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.) Bachelor's degree or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc. Knowledge of SQL Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement documents Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
