We're partnering with this dynamic and innovation-driven Independent Power Producer who is transforming Italy’s renewable energy landscape. Backed by major infrastructure investors with over €300 million in committed capital, the company is rapidly deploying a pipeline of solar and battery storage projects - initially targeting 1.4 GW with long-term ambitions exceeding 6 GW nationwide. Due to this growth, they're currently looking for Project Managers to join their newly built team. Construction Project Manager – Renewable Energy We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our team and support the delivery of utility-scale renewable energy plants (FER). The successful candidate will be part of the Construction department and will report directly to the Business Unit Manager. Key responsibilities: Oversee EPC and subcontractor contracts with a focus on optimising time, cost, and quality Manage the full lifecycle of construction activities through to technical and administrative project completion, ensuring smooth handover to O&M and Asset Management teams Ensure compliance with national and EU regulations on health & safety, environment, and quality, through the application of internal procedures and protocols Monitor project progress (physical and financial), analyse deviations from budget, identify potential critical paths, and implement timely corrective actions Collaborate with engineering teams to define contractual specifications and coordinate design activities Support the Procurement team in selecting key components (e.g. modules, inverters, trackers) and planning deliveries in line with project timelines Assist the Project Control function in preparing regular financial and progress reports Requirements: University degree in a technical or scientific field (preferably Engineering) Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in a similar role Proficiency in software tools for project design and documentation (e.g. AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent command of English (spoken and written) Preferred qualities: Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills Effective communication across all organisational levels Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach Resilience, persistence, and adaptability If this sounds like you, if you're passionate about renewable energy and want to contribute to the energy transition by managing impactful construction projects, please apply and let's have a conversation!
