Travel Nursing Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary: $2500–$2560 Assignment Length: 13 weeks (option to extend) Start Date: November 17, 2025 End Date: February 15, 2026 Location: Bridgeport, CT 06606 – Connecticut healthcare jobs Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center – Operating Room (OR) General Surgery Shift: 40 hours/week; 8-hour day shifts (6:30am–5:00pm), with 30% of shifts from 1:00pm–11:30pm as needed Call: Up to 6 weeknight and 6 weekend calls per 6-week schedule; weekend and holiday coverage required Employment Type: Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 3 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience Level 1 trauma center experience required Proficiency in General Surgery, Robotics (DaVinci & Mako Ortho), Urology, ENT, Neuro (cervical fusion, lumbar laminectomy), Plastics (abdominoplasty, breast augmentation), and GYN surgeries Specialized experience in orthopedics, including total knee and hip replacements (anterior and posterior approach) Preferred: Previous travel nursing experience, EPIC, Surgicount, and TECSYS experience OR RN Responsibilities Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative care to surgical patients in a high-acuity OR environment Assist with trauma, orthopedic, spine, neuro, plastics, GYN, and general surgery cases Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records (EPIC preferred) Participate in call rotation, including weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled Demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, and strong clinical skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
