The UK Safran Electrical & Power team has expertise in designing and developing electrical systems comprising generators, power conversion, distribution and control, with developing expertise in electric motors for aircraft propulsion. If you want to help deliver this future, we are looking for enthusiastic and creative people to join our team. As a Continuous Improvement Engineer at Safran Electrical & Power you will play a vital role in the management of the continuous improvement projects across the different divisions of the site, ensuring the deployment of exciting and innovative new processes towards the way we work. You will identify new projects to help with operational performance. You will utilise your excellent communication skills to provide support with various projects, enabling employees to contribute to the continuous improvement we champion across the site. The Role Play a key role in the continuous improvement projects as agreed by the leadership team. Identify new projects that will help with operational performance, using innovative solutions on ongoing projects. Deploy and implement all improvement initiatives in line with Lean Six Sigma methodology. Heavily contribute to the 3-year improvement roadmap that is review and approved by key stakeholders within the business. Facilitate, develop and animate a series of improvement workshops for cross-divisional employees. Support with the Six Sigma White Belt training plan. Support the operational lead to identify and deploy standard tools, processes and practices that contribute directly to the business' goals. Desirable Experience We are looking for candidates with a range of skills and experience, but we're also keen to help people grow and develop in this role. If you have some or all of the following, we'd love to hear from you: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certified advantageous. A thorough understanding of Lean Sigma principles. Exceptional communication and time management skills. Process driven and solutions orientated. Project management experience beneficial. Ability to communicate effectively to all stakeholders at various levels of the organisation. Evidence of written English at interview stage.
