Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $81,000 to $112,000 . The final offer will be determined based on the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and internal equity considerations. Please note that the offer may fall anywhere within the posted range and is not necessarily at the top end. Overview: The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability and consistency of information classified by organizational business processes using a structured taxonomy. This position provides expert advice and knowledge on how to use machine learning to automate processes for assessing, cleaning, and validating classifications to meet data quality standards and support business objectives. Key Accountabilities: Oversees the application of data science taxonomies for the management of information including reviewing, updating and recalling documents to monitor, update and standardize classifications. Leads the development of standards, procedures and protocols for the operational application of taxonomy classifications within the TI Corp information repository. Provides advice on the operational use, approach, evaluation, and assessment of information taxonomies. Coordinates and facilitates the use of taxonomy classifications for information in the custody and control of TI Corp. Provides advice and assistance to Projects and corporate business units regarding the classification and disposition of government information in the corporate information repository. Collaborates with Project and Corporate Business Units to assess the use and implementation of a corporate information repository and associated taxonomies. Supports the development of information management policies, guidelines, and standards. Develops and uses key performance indicators to improve automated document classification. Develops training data to create automated classification processes using machine learning. Supports the efficient use of automated classification processes to assign, update and manage information repository classification taxonomies. This includes identifying issues discovered during the course of using, training, configuring, and/or testing automated classification processes. Provides education and awareness of information taxonomy management to the organization and stakeholders. Represents the organization on multi-partner committees and working groups. Keeps current on emerging trends, issues, technologies, and approaches relating to machine learning and data science taxonomy management and application. Qualifications: Degree or diploma in data science, computer science, information science, library science, GIS, or other relevant specialty field and related experience Related experience includes the following: Experience at leveraging structured and unstructured data sources in the development and implementation of data taxonomies. Experience leading/coaching multi-disciplinary senior-level professionals in the development and implementation of data science projects Experience determining appropriate use of various problem structuring methods and classification methods for taxonomy development and implementation. Experience and familiarity with machine learning, clustering, and taxonomy classification techniques. Experience creating and delivering executive-level presentations for the purpose of decision making. Knowledge of the practical application of data science, classification taxonomies and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of information management services. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Ability to identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Ability to analyze needs and deliverable requirements to create a design. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
