Integration and Database Specialist

Job Description
Our client is a leader and is showing significant growth in their industry. The role is a full time permanent role with a hybrid work arrangement - 2 days in office - with no signs of this changing for the foreseeable future. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining integrations between OT systems and enterprise applications, managing SQL Server and Oracle database environments, and ensuring cyber security compliance of all implementations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning, capable of working independently while collaborating closely with IT, engineering, and operations teams. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL o Oracle 19C database experience/XQuery Packages/Procedures/Triggers/Queries o Microsoft SQL Server experience/MySQL/SSRS o Strong understanding of APIs (REST/SOAP), messaging systems, and data transformation (XML, JSON). o Software AG webMethods 10.x or later. o Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Python is an asset. o Understanding of OT systems such as ADMS, Intergraph and ESRI GIS. o Proficiency with the Microsoft .Net Framework (Including WPF) and Microsoft Visual Studio. o Proficiency with XML and XSD. o Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL. o General knowledge of GIS concepts, and experience with Intergraph or ESRI GIS software. o Superior analytical and problem-solving skills. o Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. o Positive attitude and very strong work ethic. o Ability to learn and adapt very quickly. o Ability to work independently or in a small team environment. o Excellent organization skills and the ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects at once.
