Senior IT Project Manager (Platform Migration)

Position: Senior IT Project Manager (Platform Migration) Location: Downtown Toronto / Hybrid – (3-4 days onsite) Job Type: 6–12 months contract, full-time (potential to extend) Overview: You will be responsible for leading large-scale platform migration projects end-to-end — from initiation and planning through to implementation, post-review, and operational handover. This includes managing smaller initiatives, coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing vendors, and ensuring all deliverables are completed within scope, schedule, and budget. Key Responsibilities: End-to-end project ownership (initiation to closure) for enterprise-level implementations Lead project teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure alignment with business goals Oversee planning, budgeting, risk management, and vendor relationships Track deliverables, create reports, and manage change control processes Coordinate the transition of completed projects to operational status Required Experience & Skills: 5 years as a Project Manager (PMP preferred) using Waterfall or Iterative methodologies Proven experience with Infrastructure , ITSM , and large-scale system migrations Strong vendor management, communication, and leadership skills Experience handling project financials and schedules end-to-end Knowledge of ITIL , data analytics concepts, and process documentation
