Computer Numerical Control Machine Operator

Company Description GSF Ltd specializes in building custom furniture for the workplace using a variety of materials, all made to order. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator, located in Guelph, ON. The Operator will be responsible for operating a Homag 5 axis CNC and ensuring quality control during the machining process. Programming is done with AlphaCAM and woodWop. We would be open to switching software to suite experience. The role includes interpreting technical drawings, programming machinery, from 3D part files. setting up tools, and performing routine maintenance on equipment. Our projects can get complicated we are willing to train to get up to speed. Qualifications Experience in Machine Operation and Machining Proficiency in Milling and Quality Control Comfortable working with various Machinery Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 3D files Good communication and teamwork skills Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
