Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 13-week contract assignment • Rotating weekend schedule required • No on-call requirements • Willing to consider candidates interested in mid-shift options • Emergency department trauma experience required • Patient ratios: 1:4 ED, 1:5 behavioral health, 1:3 cardiac/trauma • Work with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track, and 5 behavioral health beds • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS • Preferred qualifications: Meditech experience, trauma experience, holding inpatient experience, CPI certification • Equipment used: Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers • EMR system: MEDITECH • Typical procedures: splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, morgan lens, rapid infuser, resuscitation • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required for RNs • Ideal candidate characteristics: multitasker, team player, self-starter Facility: This medical center operates a comprehensive 89-bed emergency department featuring both private rooms and hallway stretchers, along with specialized areas including fast track and behavioral health units.
