Caretaker

A committed and reliable Caretaker is required to start as soon as possible at a welcoming and well-regarded school. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation and safety of the school site. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Maintaining clean, safe, and secure school premises - including both buildings and outdoor areas Carrying out a range of tasks such as cleaning, handyperson duties, routine maintenance, refurbishment, porterage, and minor repairs Supervising and supporting school cleaning staff to ensure high standards are met Promoting good health and safety practices across the school environment Supervising and liaising with external contractors working on site The ideal applicant will be practical, flexible, and take pride in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for pupils and staff.
