Sheet metal worker

Do you have a background working within Sheet metal and Fabrication? Do you have skills such as riveting, brazing, bonding, spot welding and press work for example? If so, then please read on The basics: Job title: Sheet Metal Worker Location: Near Sandiacre Industry: Precision Engineering Shift: Monday (3.00pm to 1.00am) and Tuesday to Thursdays (3.00pm to 12.30am) Pay: First 3 months £34,155 rising to £36247 after 3 month probation. Once proven you can work up to £39330 basic overtime earnings of £42000 and upwards are achievable. Overtime: x1.5 and x2 on Sundays Key responsibilities of the Sheet Metal Worker: Includes bending, cutting, pressing, riveting, marking out, measuring, assembly, deburr, stretching and inspecting all to tight tolerances Working to drawings, sketches and verbal instructions. Setting and operating machinery supplied for the manufacture of sheet metal components.The ideal candidate / Sheet metal worker may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Time Served Apprenticeship Previous experience working with thin gauge sheet metal Commutable from: Sandiacre, Derby, Long Eaton, Burton, Ilkeston, Nottingham, Heanor and surrounding areas.
