Junior Electrical Design Engineer £25 - £31k Matched Pension, Healthcare, 10% Bonus Cycle to Work Scheme Wiltshire Ref: 24794 Junior Electrical Design Engineer - The Role: Assist in creating 2D electrical schematics, layout drawings, and wiring diagrams using CAD software such as AutoCAD Electrical Help ensure designs meet safety, compliance, and performance requirements under guidance from senior engineers Collaborate with the wider engineering and production teams to support the integration of control systems into equipment and installations Support the panel build process by providing documentation and clarifying design intent to the assembly team Help document design changes and participate in design reviews to learn best practices and develop your skills Assist during testing, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) stages as needed Junior Electrical Design Engineer - The Person: A formal qualification in Electrical or Engineering-related discipline (e.g., HNC/HND or equivalent) A practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving and strong attention to detail Drive to learn and develop skills in AutoCAD Electrical, and other internal systems such as ERP (training provided), as well as developing your technical knowledge in a real-world engineering environment A strong sense of responsibility and pride in your work Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and professional growth Eagerness to become familiar with the company’s ERP system Looking for a job involved with automation, control systems, process control or systems integration?
