Mechanical Fitters - Swindon (Immediate Start) Location: Swindon, UK Pay Rate: £26.00 - £27.00 per hour (Mon-Fri) Overtime: Saturday x1.3 | Sunday x2.0 Hours: 60-70 hours per week (10-12 hours per day) Start Date: ASAP The Role: LRL are currently recruiting for Mechanical Fitters to join an industrial installation project based in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile site, carrying out the installation of industrial machinery as part of an established engineering team. The role offers long hours, consistent work, and excellent earning potential for the right candidates. Key Responsibilities: Installation and fitting of heavy industrial machinery and associated components. Working from technical drawings and engineering specifications. Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures. Assisting with mechanical assembly, alignment, and commissioning tasks as required. Collaborating with other trades to maintain site efficiency and safety. Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial or engineering environment. Strong understanding of mechanical assembly and installation. Relevant trade qualifications or time-served experience. Ability to work long hours and maintain high standards of safety and productivity. Two recent, project-specific references.
