Groundworker

R9 Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Grounds Worker to join their clients team. You will be responsible for maintaining outdoor spaces to a high standard, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal across residential properties. Location: Lambeth Salary: £32-£35k p/a Key Responsibilities • Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely and efficiently • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations • Break up and remove cement/concrete surfaces as part of site preparation or repair works • Maintain communal areas, pathways, and hardstanding surfaces • Operate hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents or clients Requirements - Experience in grounds maintenance or construction-related work - Comfortable using tools for breaking up cement (e.g., breakers, chisels) - Basic knowledge of landscaping and hard surface repair - Full UK driving licence (essential) - Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions - Strong work ethic and attention to detail Benefits • 33 days holiday (inclusive of Bank Holidays) • Pension Scheme • Qualification Renewal Inclusive • Company Van & Fuel Card • Company Sick Pay • Volunteering Allowance • Access to Employee Assistance Program If you are interested in this position then please click Apply
