Position Overview * Job Title: Material Handler I (x3 positions) * Location: Onsite – Loughborough, Bishop Meadow Road * Time Type: Full-time * Duration: 12 months * Start Date: ASAP * Pay Rate: £12.65/hour (AWR Salary Equivalent: £25,646) * Hours per Week: 38 * Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday, 8:00–17:00 (not a shift role) * Overtime: Available * Interview Process: Stage 1 – Face-to-face, 45 minutes Job Description You’ll be part of the warehouse team, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods using the SQD model (Safety, Quality, Delivery). Responsibilities include: * Receiving and checking deliveries * Manual handling of goods (boxes, pallets, etc.) * Booking items into the warehouse system * Picking and packing customer orders * Preparing shipments and loading vehicles * Maintaining safety and quality standards Minimum Requirements * Proficiency in English (written and verbal) * Warehouse experience (e.g., forklift, picking, packing) * Teamwork and flexibility * Equipment operation and maintenance * Health & safety compliance * Professional appearance (workwear provided; safety boots required) Top Skills * Attention to detail * Warehouse experience (preferred) * English language proficiency Culture & Expectations * PPE provided onsite (except safety boots) * Professional conduct aligned with company policies * Support for continuous improvement (PPI, KAISEN, JDI, 5S) * Alignment with company values and ethics
