History Teacher - Prestigious Secondary School (Cardiff) Pay: £173 per day Start Date: After October Half Term Contract: Full-time, Ongoing Role Empowering Learning Cardiff is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join a prestigious secondary school in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly regarded school community, delivering engaging History lessons up to Key Stage 4/KS4. This is a full-time ongoing role starting after October half term, ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inspiring students and fostering a love for History in the classroom. Role Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality History lessons in line with the national curriculum, up to KS4. Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work and lesson materials. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support attainment. Create a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, respect, and independent thinking. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community. Requirements: A degree in History or a related subject. Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent). Experience teaching History up to KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential). Strong classroom management skills with a passion for engaging learners. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Right to work in the UK and two recent professional references. Why Join Empowering Learning?
