Modern Foreign Languages Teachers (South Wales) Pay: £28.00 - £40.00 per hour (depending on experience) Location: Colleges & Adult Learning Centres across South Wales Contract: Part-time Evening Teaching Roles Empowering Learning Cardiff is seeking passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teachers to deliver classes for adult learners across a range of languages, including German, Spanish, Italian, and Welsh. These exciting opportunities are ideal for experienced language teachers or tutors who are enthusiastic about inspiring adult learners and helping them develop practical conversational and written language skills in an engaging, supportive environment. Role Responsibilities: Deliver interactive and engaging language lessons to adult learners at beginner level. Develop and adapt schemes of work and resources to meet the needs and pace of adult learners. Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes confidence and enjoyment in language learning. Assess learner progress through informal feedback and provide guidance for continued development. Promote cultural awareness and communication skills relevant to real-life situations. Requirements: Degree-level qualification in a relevant Modern Foreign Language (or native-level fluency). Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, CELTA, or equivalent) desirable. Experience teaching adults or beginners in a classroom or community learning setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Right to work in the UK and two recent professional references. Why Join Empowering Learning?
