As the experienced Head Chef, you will take charge of the kitchen and inspire a talented team. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality dishes, creating menus that excite our customers, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. Duties and responsibilities for the Head Chef * Lead the kitchen team, ensuring service runs seamlessly, and dishes meet high standards. * Plan, develop, and cost menus, including seasonal dishes and special events. * Manage stock, control food costs, and reduce waste. * Coach, mentor, and develop your team to ensure a motivated and skilled kitchen brigade. * Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards, including allergen awareness. * Support events, promotions, and seasonal menu changes to drive business success. Essential Requirements for the Head Chef * Proven experience in a senior kitchen role such as Head Chef or Sous Chef. * Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team. * Commercially aware of experience managing costs, stock, and waste. * Organised, creative, and able to perform under pressure. * Knowledge of food safety and HACCP regulations. * Right to work in the UK. Desirable requirements for the Head Chef * Food Safety Level 2 or 3, or willing to achieve. * Formal culinary qualification or equivalent experience. * Experience with private events and supplier management
