Mechanical Fitter

With a reputation for quality and innovation, they design to deliver exceptional engineering solutions. * They're currently seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our team. You’ll be responsible for the assembly, installation, maintenance, and build of mechanical equipment and systems across a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities: * Assembly and fitting of mechanical components and systems from engineering drawings * Routine maintenance and fault-finding * Installation and testing of mechanical systems in a factory/workshop or on-site setting * Working from detailed technical drawings, schematics, and manuals Key Requirements: * NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Fitting * Proven experience in a mechanical fitting role (Manufacturing environment) * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Full UK driving licence (for site-based work) * Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic system * A keen attention to detail. * A diligent work ethic and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Desirables: * Torch brazing * Instrument fitting * Manual machining
