Principal Structures Engineer Senior/Principal level We are working with a forward‑thinking engineering consultancy engaged in transformational heavy civil engineering programmes. You'll join a dynamic, inclusive team to deliver solutions across high‑profile sectors including Defence, Energy and Water. Key Responsibilities Lead a technical team to deliver design work to the highest standards, in line with relevant design codes and client requirements. Prepare design briefs, scopes of work and contribute to bid proposals. Manage project timeframes and budgets, ensuring timely milestone delivery. Collaborate closely across UK and international teams to deliver integrated structural design solutions. Maintain adherence to quality assurance standards throughout the design process. What You Bring Chartered status as a Civil or Structural Engineer. Significant experience in design delivery, especially within multidisciplinary teams. Strong expertise in the analysis and design of heavy concrete and steel structural elements, familiar with British Standards Proficiency in structural analysis software. Experience in the nuclear sector (design and implementation of safety‑related structures, systems and components) is strongly preferred-but exceptional candidates from other sectors will also be considered.
