Forecourt Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer (Forecourt Engineer) Orchard Recruitment currently require Petrol Forecourt Engineers for long term ongoing work in the South and Midlands. Duties to include performing maintenance, repairs, and installations for fuel pumps, EV charging points, and general site upkeep. Key responsibilities * Pump maintenance: Repairing and replacing fuel pumps, which can include "Pump on Pump off" (POPO) services. * Electrical and charging points: Installing and maintaining equipment, including new electric vehicle (EV) charging points. * Civil engineering and repairs: Addressing general site maintenance like re-laying tarmac, repairing drainage channels, replacing broken kerbs, and fixing concrete. * General upkeep: Various tasks such as replacing damaged manhole covers, re-sealing expansion joints, and maintaining kiosk equipment. * Safety and compliance: Ensuring all work is performed in accordance with forecourt-specific health and safety standards. Requirements and skills * Experience: Proven experience of working on petrol forecourts is essential * Certifications: Must hold a valid SPA Petrol Passport * Driving licence: A full UK driving licence is essential * Travel: The ability to travel and stay away from home is essential Accommodation, Travel and Food Allowance will be provided for jobs that require working away Rate £200 per shift (Negotiable) Permanent positions are available also Please contact Mark for more info
