Automatic Door Engineer

Key Duties as an Automatic Door Engineer Carrying out servicing, fault finding, and repairs on automatic sliding, swinging, and industrial doors. Performing electrical wiring and mechanical adjustments where required. Identifying opportunities for additional services and sales. Ensuring compliance with EN16005, BS7036, IPAF, and PASMA standards.To succeed as an automatic door engineer, you'll need: Proven hands-on experience with automatic or industrial doors. EN16005 or BS7036 certification (IPAF/PASMA also welcome). Strong electrical and mechanical problem-solving skills. A full UK driving licence and valid CSCS card.What's On Offer Up to £19 per hour, with realistic OTE earnings of £54,000 in year one. 26 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (34 in total). Overtime rates (1.5x weekdays, 2x weekends, with extras for night work). Generous standby and call out payments. Professionally kitted Ford Transit van, fuel card, mobile, and laptop.
