Criminal Solicitor

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Criminal Solicitor to join my clients highly regarded firm in their Leeds offices on a hybrid basis. Role Overview: The ideal candidate will handle a varied caseload of criminal defence matters, with a focus on: • Dangerous Dogs Act cases, including prohibited breeds and dogs dangerously out-of-control dogs. • Representation at police stations, Magistrates’ Court, and Crown Court. Key Skills • Proficient IT skills • Literate and numerate • Excellent advocacy and case management skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively. • Ability to work accurately in accordance with the requirements of the team • Ability to deal with enquiries in a customer-friendly and effective manner • Ability to work under pressure • Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines • A flexible and adaptable approach to work The Candidate: • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 2 years PQE in criminal law (negotiable depending on experience) • Experience or strong interest in learning/developing Dangerous Dog work (desirable) Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment Please Note: Due to the number of applications we receive we may be unable to respond to every application directly.
