Toolmaker / CNC Machinist

Dynacast UK Ltd is the largest zinc diecaster in the UK and has been operating from it's purpose built manufacturing facility in Welshpool since 1993. Due to expansion, we are looking to recruit: Toolmaker / CNC Machinist Are you a skilled Toolmaker or CNC Machinist looking to join a forward-thinking, precision engineering team? Were seeking a motivated individual with a passion for craftsmanship and technical excellence to help us deliver high-quality components across a range of industries. Key Responsibilities Manufacture, repair, and maintain precision tools, jigs, and fixtures. Operate CNC machines ( milling) to produce tooling to tight tolerances. Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files Collaborate with design and production teams to improve tooling and machining processes. Requirements Proven experience as a Toolmaker or CNC Machinist. Strong understanding of engineering drawings and machining principles. Proficiency in CNC programming (e.g., Fanuc, Heidenhain , Mazatrol ). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Desirable Skills Experience with CAD/CAM software Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices. Apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualifications.
