Freelance Quantity Surveyor

Freelance Quantity Surveyor – Main Contractor (Fit-Out & Construction) East of Scotland £35-£40 per hour We’re working with a busy, medium-sized main contractor delivering a mix of fit-out, refurbishment and general build projects across Scotland but based in the Central Belt. They’re looking for an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor to join the team and help manage costs on ongoing and upcoming jobs. The role: Managing costs and budgets across live projects Handling subcontractor accounts, valuations, and variations Working closely with the site and project teams to keep projects on track Helping deliver projects on time and within budget What you’ll need: Solid QS experience with a construction contractor Experience in fit-out or refurb work preferred Able to work independently and hit the ground running Based within the East of Scotland area What’s on offer: £35–£40 per hour (depending on experience) Ongoing freelance work with a strong local contractor
