The Company you will be working for; MTrec Commercial are proudly representing out highly successful and reputable client on their search for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join their expanding team on a full time permanent basis. The role you will be doing; * Arranging Transportation * Booking Cargo Space on Ships or Planes. * Providing Shipment Tracking and Updates * Resolving Any Issues That May Arise During the Shipping Process * Facilitating Secure Payment and Billing Processes for Shipping * Submitting and Providing Guidance on Shipping Documents * Consolidating and Deconsolidating Shipments * Compliance with Regulations, Safe Transportation, and Reliable Communication * You will be working Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm and on call on rotation applicable (1 in every 6) About You; * 2 or more years of experience in the transport industry, preferably freight forwarding * Competence in working with Microsoft Excel and Word and Outlook * Able to work under pressure and manage a diverse workload and meet deadlines * Enthusiastic team player who also has the ability to work as an individual * Good interpersonal skills for working with a range of colleagues and customers * General skills in maths and English * The Ideal candidate will be driven, proactive, customer focused and highly motivated with a confident telephone manner, have some sales experience as well as experience in the transport sector, excellent attention to detail and great organisational skills. * You will play a vital role in the development and retainment of new and existing business. * The successful candidate will have a proven history of working in a similar role within the freight forwarding industry dealing with road freight, sea and air freight experience is also desirable
