Job Description
A manufacturing company located in Montreal is looking for an accounting technician for a hybrid position.ResponsibilitiesAccountingMaintaining employee records (vacation, overtime, etc.)Preparing payroll and employee paymentsManaging benefits, insurance, and wage subsidiesEntering and processing invoicesMonitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable, accounting recordsTransfers to suppliers and expense reimbursementsCollection supportPreparing reports (credit cards, expenses, etc.)Validating and approving expensesRequirements2 to 3 years of experience in accounting and HR supportBilingualism in French and English to communicate with clients from other provincesProficiency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software (Acomba is an asset)Experience with spreadsheets and financial reportsDEP training in accounting (an asset)SkillsAccuracy, rigor, and attention to detailOrganizational skills and autonomyVersatility and initiativeAbility to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
