Mechanical and Structural Engineer

I'm Jérémy Dupeuble, Recruitment Consultant at FED ManuTech, specializing in technical and manufacturing roles. I'm looking for a skilled Structural Engineer who wants to contribute to innovative projects in the steel storage solution industry. Your Role* Select and optimize products to meet clients' unique requirements.* Perform structural analyses and material strength calculations.* Oversee new product design and ensure all technical specifications meet quality standards.* Work closely with the sales department and provide technical training to representatives.* Review technical sections of tenders and occasionally produce bid drawings.* Provide technical support to sales when required.Your Profile* Bachelor's degree in Building / Construction Engineering (structural profile) or Mechanical Engineering.* Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) - required.* Familiarity with S16 and CNBC design standards.* Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.* Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D (asset) and SolidWorks 3D (asset).* Experience with Advance Design America or other structural analysis software (asset).* Functional English proficiency.* Self motivated, detail oriented, and customer focused.Working Conditions* Start date: As soon as possible.* Salary: To be discussed based on experience.* Comprehensive group insurance benefits (life, medical, dental, long term disability).* Employer participation in a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).* Salary range between $100,000 and $120,000 bonus.
