Responsibilities Work in a hospital-based Telemetry unit Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with stress test days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Primary duties include performing Exercise Echocardiogram, Dobutamine Exercise Echocardiogram, and Nuclear Medicine Stress Tests (Lexiscan) Average of 4-6 stress tests conducted per day RN will work independently and may collaborate with a cardiologist, hospitalist, or ER physician as needed Works alongside a nuclear medicine technologist who administers medications CPSI charting system experience is preferred Responsible for performing and interpreting various cardiac stress tests and monitoring patients during procedures Expected to follow up with patients by phone and provide discharge instructions Must be able to perform all duties independently with minimal supervision Collaboration with hospitalists, ER physicians, and nuclear medicine technologists as needed Holiday time off restrictions apply around Christmas and New Year's Modules are not required for this position Requirements Active IL RN license required and must be in-hand by orientation Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience with at least 1 year performing stress testing Proficiency in 12 Lead EKG, treadmill and ergometry stress testing protocols, and interpretation of dysrhythmias Ability to start peripheral IVs and manage emergency medications Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628965.
