Control Panel Design Engineer

Our client, a leading HVAC control systems house based in Newtownabbey are currently seeking to recruit a Control panel design Engineer to join their team. The role is permanent . Salary is between 26k - 30k per year based on experience plus many company benefits. Working hours are 8.30 am 4.45 pm (Mon Thurs) and 8.30 3.30 pm (Friday) The Role Key Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the role are as follows: To take the customers engineering requirements and design bespoke control panels that can be manufactured in an efficient manner. Liaising with Mechanical & Electrical Contractors on a regular basis. Create electrical schematics to allow the manufacturing team to build the BMS panels. The Requirements The successful applicant should possess the following skills & attributes: Previous experience of working within one of the following Electrical, HVAC, BMS or Process control. Previous experience of electrical design and engineering. Working knowledge of CAD drawing packages (Eplan, Promis-e , Solidworks electrical etc). To be able to create schematic drawings that can be manufactured including systems test and fault finding. Previous experience of control and instrumentation design would be an advantage. To be able to work to tight timescales to deliver projects on time and within budget.
