Finance Manager

We're excited to be working alongside one of our valued clients in the search for a Finance Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to take a hands-on, strategic role within a well-established and respected business. As Finance Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the financial health and operational efficiency of the business. From daily financial operations to long-term strategic planning, you’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and growth across multiple companies. Continuously identify and implement improvements to streamline financial processes, enhance accuracy, and drive efficiency. Work closely with external accountants to support smooth and timely completion of year-end accounts and corporation tax returns. Monitor and manage cash flow across multiple entities, optimising working capital and helping to mitigate financial risks. Take ownership of financial records including ledgers and journals. Oversee supplier accounts, payments, customer balances, credit control, and routine bank reconciliations. Manage the full spectrum of financial operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Deliver clear, timely financial reporting and insights. Our client is seeking a finance professional qualified to AAT Level 4 (or equivalent), with a solid foundation in accounting principles. Experience using Xero is highly desirable and will be a strong advantage in this role. Just as important are strong analytical skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively while taking initiative in a fast-paced environment.
