Position : 185525 Expected Start Date: To be determined Union: HSAS Facility: Victoria Hospital City/Town: Prince Albert Department: Acute&Critical Care Respiratory Services Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.63 Hours of Work: 282.24 hours per 12 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Respiratory Therapist - Diploma $38.647 to $47.144 Travel Required: No Job Description: The Respiratory Therapist is accountable for the operation of the respiratory service and provides effective, safe and accurate treatment of patients with respiratory and cardiac problems. The Respiratory Therapist reports to the Manager, Clinical Services ICU/PACU. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education Respiratory Therapy diploma (RT) Other Education and Training Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS) Competencies Advanced - Writing skills Basic - Teaching skills Advanced - Verbal communication skills Intermediate - Interpersonal skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to be self motivated Ability to utilize specific program equipment Ability to work independently Other Information Registered/eligible with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapist (CSRT) For more information on the city of Prince Albert please visit https://www.citypa.ca May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period
