Position : 9002060 Expected Start Date: To Be Determined Union: HSAS Facility: Battlefords Union Hospital City/Town: North Battleford Department: Audiology and Speech & Language Pathology Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Hours of Work: shifts of hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: Yes Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Speech Language Pathologist - Masters $43.309 to $52.958 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: The Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP), under the direction of the Manager of Rehabilitation Services is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing speech and language services for adult population. SLP completes speech, language, and swallowing/feeding assessments and treatments according to departmental procedure, best practices and established standards of practice, professional competency. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Education Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Memberships Saskatchewan Association of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists Competencies Advanced - Communication skills Advanced - Organizational skills Advanced - Interpersonal skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team Ability to work independently Other Information Travel within the region and provincially HSAS seniority in the SHA will be considered under the selection criteria May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives
