Metallurgical technician

We are a manufacturing facility in Montreal-North looking for a Metallurgical Technician who will assist in the daily operation of the heat treatment and destructive testing departments as well as metallurgical lab activities. The position is a permanent, fulltime post in a stable company that has been around since 1971. Key Responsibilities:Support mechanical and metallurgical testing activities.Assist with quality assurance documentation and sample tracking.Prepare and analyze samples for laboratory evaluation.Contribute to equipment calibration and maintenance routines.Help ensure compliance with internal standards and external audits.Maintain laboratory organization and cleanliness.Participate in process improvement and other assigned tasks as needed. Qualifications:Technical Diploma in Engineering (preferably metallurgy).Bilingual.Must have good English oral & written communication skills to perform work with US customers.Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.Experience in a related Industry (an asset).
