Position : 156902 Expected Start Date: November 07, 2025 Union: HSAS Facility: Arcola Health Centre City/Town: Arcola Department: Community Clinics&Programs Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 224 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Health Educator - Staff $36.518 to $44.655 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: The Health Educator will assist interdisciplinary teams in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives that advance strategic priorities, specifically patient-centred quality health care. The Health Educator is responsible to work with quality improvement teams throughout the South East 9 network. The Health Educator will serve as a process catalyst to support the efforts of teams and help them progress effectively to achieve their aims and facilitate sustained improvements within their initiatives. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement" Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Experience in leading teams and project management Experience in teaching adults, facilitation skills, and leading group activities Education Bachelor Degree in a related Health Science or Social Science discipline Licenses Valid Class 5 driver's license Competencies Verbal communication skills Facilitation skills Presentation skills Written Communication Skills Time management skills Computer skills Conflict resolution skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to initiate and exercise critical thinking and decision-making Ability to work collegially, collaboratively and build positive relationships ability and willingness to travel within service delivery area Ability to maintain a positive attitude and pleasant manner.
