The EMT-P will cover standby assignment, as operations require. Human Resources Exemption: No Education Advanced Care Paramedic Diploma (ACP) Primary Care Paramedic Certificate from an approved educational institute Licenses Valid Class 4 driver's license Registered Paramedic (2011 National Occupational Competency Profile standards) Other Education and Training International Trauma Life Support Advanced Certificate (ITLS) Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS) Pre-Hospital Care Program - Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) Level Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS) Health Care Provider Level C Certificate (HCP-C) Basic Cardiac Life Support Instructor Certificate (BCLS) Competencies Basic - Communication skills Basic - Interpersonal skills Knowledge and Abilities Ability to work and communicate in a cross cultural setting Other Information Davidson is located approximately 114 km south of Saskatoon For more information on the town of Davidson please visit https://www.townofdavidson.com/ May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at PCP/EMT/ICP/EMT-A Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during the rotation stipulated when a statutory holiday is recognized during that period. Must be able to respond to the ambulance within 10 minutes when on-call Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement
