This role develops and executes editorial content to support Manulife's brand narrative, with a focus on health. We are looking fo r a strong multi-platform editorial writer who loves finding innovative and compelling ways to communicate brand narrative across consumer touchpoints . Position Responsibilities: Ideates stories for our owned channels that enforce our brand narrative and support our marketing goals Uses editorial best practices to write short and long form health and finance content that tells the Manulife brand story across multiple platforms including our website, newsletters and social channels. Works with design team to produce rich media assets (video, infographics, reports etc) and alternate story formats Works with social media specialist to create copy for posts that build brand and drive to our website Manages a rolling calendar of evergreen content, updating and optimizing content as needed Assists in the transcreation of articles from English to French, and French to English Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years reporting and writing experience in an editorial or branded content environment is preferred Fluent in French (Bilingual) Experience utilizing different editorial formats to produce compelling content Experience optimizing content considering SEO and Google Analytics Ability to accurately explain and decode complicated topics for a mass audience. Referenced Salary Location Toronto, Ontario Working Arrangement Hybrid Salary range is expected to be between $61,350.00 CAD - $102,250.00 CAD If you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
