Azure Security Specialist (English Required)

Avanade - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil We are seeking an Azure Security Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft’s security ecosystem to help clients design and optimize secure cloud environments across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS. The role requires hands‑on experience with Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and XDR, plus strategic consulting capabilities. Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to clients on Microsoft cloud security solutions, including Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and XDR (Defender for Endpoint, MDI, MDA). Design and implement security architectures tailored to client environments and regulatory needs. Guide the integration and operationalization of Security Copilot to enhance incident response and automation. Support security assessments, risk analysis, and remediation planning. Collaborate with client stakeholders to align security strategy with business objectives. Deliver workshops, technical sessions, and documentation to support knowledge transfer and adoption. Stay current with Microsoft security innovations and best practices. Qualifications Proven experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft XDR tools (Defender for Endpoint, MDI, MDA). Familiarity with Security Copilot and AI‑assisted security operations. Strong understanding of cloud security across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models. Experience in client‑facing roles, including workshops, assessments, and solution delivery. Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR). Strong communication and presentation skills. Microsoft certifications such as SC‑100, SC‑200, AZ‑500, or equivalent. Fluency in English required. J-18808-Ljbffr
