Senior/Mid Software Engineer

Overview Brick Abode is a software development company serving clients from multiple countries with differing technological needs. This is a fully remote role, with team members in Brazil and the USA, and most communication conducted in English. We are looking for 1 responsible and proactive Mid professional who can navigate between technology and business contexts with ease, in fast-paced environments, and with strong communication skills. Responsibilities Communicate with clients and team members to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Navigate between technology and business contexts with ease; operate in a fast-paced environment. Contribute to development tasks across service/server, web development, and REST APIs using Java and the Spring framework. Work within a remote, international team and communicate effectively in English. Qualifications Java expertise and service/server development experience. Proven experience with the Spring framework. Familiarity with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP). Proven experience with web development and REST APIs. Docker expertise. Advanced or fluent English. Familiarity with Azure and EntraID or knowledge of web security is a plus. An academic background (MSc or PhD) is a plus.
