Responsibilities: Define and oversee the technical strategy and direction for Ruby development projects, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and long-term vision. Lead and manage a team of Ruby developers, setting clear objectives, fostering professional growth, and promoting collaboration. Oversee the entire lifecycle of Ruby applications, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing maintenance. Implement and advocate for best practices in software development, focusing on Ruby and associated technologies. Stay updated with the latest advancements in Ruby development, evaluating and integrating cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. Facilitate effective communication between the Ruby development team and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment and project success. Address and resolve complex technical challenges, making critical architectural and design decisions. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the team. Requirements: 7 years of experience with Ruby. Proficient in Agile methodologies, ensuring efficient project delivery and team collaboration. In-depth knowledge of Design Patterns. Advanced IT infrastructure knowledge. Strong experience in application security best practices. Proven track record in developing and integrating large-scale applications. Expertise in both back-end and front-end development areas. Skilled in conducting code reviews and managing CI/CD pipelines. Expert understanding of client's requirements, assessing potential benefits and weaknesses. Advanced knowledge of the trade-offs involved in choosing specific technologies or solutions. Strong experience leading client and stakeholder meetings, effectively communicating technical concepts. Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, task allocation, risk identification, decision-making, time estimation, conflict resolution, and project planning. Advanced level of English.
