This role offers the opportunity to work alongside specialist partners advising a long-established client base of landowners, farmers, and rural enterprises. What You’ll Be Doing Advising on rural land transactions including sales, purchases, and lettings Handling secured lending instructions on agricultural property Advising on tenancy matters under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 and Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 Supporting clients on complex tenancy restructuring, including surrender and re-grants to enable strategic land projects Working closely with clients on long-term property and estate planning matters What You’ll Bring At least 3 years’ PQE in property law, with experience in agricultural, residential, or commercial property Specific interest in or experience with rural and agricultural law Ability to manage complex transactions and build trusted client relationships Experience gained at a recognised firm with exposure to rural or land-based clients What You’ll Get High-quality, interesting work within a well-established specialist team Close collaboration with sector-leading lawyers in a collegiate environment Hybrid working and flexibility Competitive remuneration and benefits package Long-term development opportunities within a firm with a strong presence in the sector This is a key opportunity for a property lawyer with rural experience or ambition to specialise in agricultural work at one of the top firms in the region.
