Computer Numerical Control Machinist

CNC Milling - Setter, Operator, Programmer Walsall - Up to £51,000 per annum Nightshift: Monday–Thursday, 20:45–07:00 (39 hours/week) An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CNC Miller to join a precision engineering team in Walsall . The successful candidate will be responsible for the programming, setting, and operating of CNC milling machines, producing high-quality components to exacting standards. Key Responsibilities Program, set, and operate CNC milling machines in line with engineering drawings. Read and interpret cutting patterns to maximise material use and minimise waste. Maintain quality and accuracy across all components, ensuring compliance with company procedures. Handle products safely and efficiently to prevent damage or health and safety risks. Keep all stock control systems and documentation accurate and up to date. Support training and upskilling of other team members when required. Experience & Skills Proven background in precision machining and CNC milling. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings . Proficient in programming and machine setup (Heidenhain knowledge desirable). Strong understanding of machining various metal materials. PC literate and able to maintain accurate records. A current counterbalance licence and machine maintenance experience would be advantageous.
