ROLE CNC Mill/Turn Programmer – Aerospace Components SALARY Competitive Overtime Benefits LOCATION Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire The company: Join a precision engineering leader supplying high-specification components to the aerospace sector. This role offers the chance to work with advanced Mill/Turn technology on challenging, small-to-medium batch work for cutting-edge customer designs. The role: You’ll be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision components to exacting aerospace standards. Working closely with Planning, Quality, and other departments, you’ll help develop new manufacturing methods for both prototype and repeat work. Key Responsibilities: Program, set, and operate CNC Mill/Turn machines and other turning equipment to tight tolerances Develop manufacturing methods for new product introductions Work with a variety of materials including Stainless Steel, Nylon, Titanium, Inconel & Aluminium Record accurate job timings in the ERP system Maintain 6S standards on the shop floor Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives What we are looking for: Strong background in CNC Mill/Turn machining in aerospace or similar high-precision industries Skilled in offline programming for Mill/Turn and CNC Turning machines with Fanuc controls Experience working to tolerances Apprentice trained or qualified by experience Familiarity with CAD/CAM This is a late shift role working Monday – Thursday 3pm – 1:30pm paying up to £23.00 per hour for the right candidate.
