Job Description

Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with an industry leading wholesale and distribution firm in the Lisburn area on the appointment of an experienced Inventory Controller. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for managing and optimising all aspects of Stock Control and Systems Administration. Responsibilities in your new role: Oversee and manage inventory processes, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations Plan and conduct regular stock takes, cycle counts, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy Develop and implement robust procedures for stock control, particularly in a multi-owner product environment Monitor stock levels and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders to aid decision-making Act as a bridge between operations and technical teams, translating operational requirements into system solutions Support the warehouse team in ensuring compliance with operational procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement Document and communicate system and process changes effectively across all levels of the organisation What you will need to succeed: A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within a fast-paced warehouse environment Proficiency with WMS and all Microsoft Office applications Strong communication, problem solving and decision-making skills Whats in it for you: Starting salary of up to £30,000 Laptop & phone Personal development & progression opportunities 32 days annual leave For a confidential conversation on how Capex Recruitment can support you with your next move, reach out to Chris Quinn our Supply Chain specialist today.
