They’re seeking skilled Composite Design Engineers to join their team, contributing to a prestigious naval defence project in Portsmouth. The position is focused on designing advanced composite structures for maritime applications, ensuring optimal performance, durability, and compliance with industry standards taking responsibility for the following: Lead the design and development of composite components and structures for naval applications, utilising Siemens NX CAD software. Conduct structural analysis and optimisation of composite materials, ensuring compliance with military specifications and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate composite designs into broader system architectures. Prepare and review technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and test plans. Support the manufacturing process by providing design guidance and resolving technical issues.
